Daily lesson in sexism, courtesy of The Simpsons

I was watching The Simpsons the other day, episode 19 of season 19 ("Mona Leaves-a"), and there was a great part that reminded me a lot of my rant about the sexism in Halloween costumes. The entire family went on a mall trip, and ended up in a Build-a-Bear-like store, where Lisa was making her own stuffed dolphin. She walked up to a woman working there to put clothes on her toy:
Employee: What outfit do you want for your doll?
Lisa: Doctor!
Employee: Okay, nurse it is.
Lisa: Professor!
Employee: Kindergarten teacher.
Lisa: Chef!
Employee: Lunchlady.
Lisa: CEO!
Employee: Secretary to a CEO.
Lisa: You know, it's a boy dolphin.
Employee: Ohhh, here you go... doctor.
Lisa: (to her dolphin) Heh heh heh, we fooled her... Betsy.
I laughed really hard, and once again commended The Simpsons for being one of the smartest shows on television. Here's the entire episode if you want to check it out - this specific scene happens around 4:20.

I love Lisa Simpson! She always made me feel better for being the smart girl in a family of dumb guys. Haha no just kidding.. but she is awesome.

It was a nice conversation and I think Lisa is the best because she's a smart girl, by the way, did you know, Matt Groening and James L. Brooks have served as executive producers during the show's entire history, and also function as creative consultants, specially with Lisa. 23jj

I really like Matt Groening's twisted point of view . The way that he laughts of all those things that society has.

Actually this is a better example of Feminist lies then anything else... do the research women now make 8%more then men and they also dominate the workplace. Men are 3 times more likely to be assaulted and 2 time mores likely to commit suicide...
This Joke is highlighting the false female propaganda that is responsible for making Females the privileged group, and focusing on men as the targeted group. whop better the Two females to be apart of the joke.. The truth is people like you need to stretch and search for sexism against however Misandry against men is very blatant and spelled out in the Simpsons... The females of the Simpson are made to look ether more intelligent then men, or as if they have to put up with less intelligent men. Bart and Hommer are clearly morons who cause nothing, but trouble. Marge is the average woman that has to put up with her idiot husband, and lisa is the genius that out shines here idiot male family members as well as most male characters even mill house... All of the men are made to look like incompetent quacks... and most of the women (unless Simpsons is taking a crack at a specific woman/celebrity) are portrayed in a much better light then the men. There is even an episode where the male gender of the Simpsons is literally said to be the in superior gender.
