New Yorkers on Women's History
13 comments
I helped make this nifty little video for Women's eNews, where development intern Angela and I got to meander around downtown Manhattan and ask strangers about women's history. It yielded some interesting results. Enjoy! (I'm on the right...)
If you're around the NYC area, definitely try to make it to the launch of Opening the Way on October 23rd. Not just saying this because I work for Women's eNews... but I really was in awe at the abundance of women's history packed into this tiny area. I guarantee anyone who takes time to read this blog will enjoy it :)

Amy,
I am so proud of you! I wish I could make it into the city that day. <3

I know this is a couple months old, but wow, what people had to say was incredibly interesting...especially the guy who was like, "Susan B. Anthony was Marc Anthony's wife, right?" Oh, people...

So heartening to see the two of you asking people about women's history. And then telling the stories, yourself. I did not know about Elizabeth Jennings! And I pride myself on being a historian of women. Bravo!

It's marketing fluff for the first two minutes, but then it gets interesting. Girl, I'll treat you right
And I'll never lie
For all that it's worth

It would not surprise me to see America change from within with these Protesters now entering into every city...it is more what Beck says in reality than what you speak. The crumbling of America will come forth from these protesters whose agenda is to take from the wealthy and great chaos will come... and America will fall.

I do not love you except because I love you;
I go from loving to not loving you,
From waiting to not waiting for you
My heart moves from cold to fire.

There are some of us who agree with you, and we are in the minority. I would Senator Olympia Snowe to your list. I used to be on her staff and committee staff before going into the Air Force. Thanks for bringing this.
