Flashers show political support

BoobsForBarack.com

Empowering? Offensive? Give me your input because I could go either way. I know it's just for fun, but... isn't there a more credible way us women can show our support for Barack? I really have no idea what boobs have to do with politics, and the website doesn't give me a clear explanation.

For the record, that picture is one of the cleaner ones. Most of the pictures are of women bearing it all, so make sure you view it on your laptop at home, rather than at the office.

Sigh. I just don't know.

What next?

All that's going to happen is the conservatives are going to call Obama a pimp or some shit. Unfortunately in our society people won't pay attention to women unless they are showing some skin!

If it was meant to be an empowering way of showing your support for a candidate, why aren't most of the women comfortable enough to show their faces? I'm all for the sexual liberation of women and being comfortable with your body, no matter what shape or size it is, but there has to be a better way to do it. Why aren't our faces more important then our breasts?

lauren e took the words right out of my... keyboard? i am very sex-positive, and i think womens bodies are beautiful and we should be able to display them proudly. but what do boobs have to do with political support? is it just that thats the only way people will pay attention to us? and i agree about the faces!

also, a lot of those pics were just of boobs... with no mention of obama. then there was that one chick who was voting for "barack ombama".

Did anyone notice the shirt ad at the bottom of the page for "Big 'Cock' Barack '08"? I find that more offensive than the boobs.

Whether women are objectifying themselves for PETA or for the election, it makes me sad for the same reason. Not because someone came up with the idea, but because the women who participate don't seem to think about what they're doing. They don't seem to realize that there are other ways to support a candidate than by showing their breasts. If they really want to do it, fine, but I'm willing to bet that 75% of participants don't put much critical thought into it.

I'm gonna have to vote no on this one. It just doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

Most of the images don't even have Obama stuff in them. It's just porn!
