Checklist for Change

Yesterday, the Democratic Women for Change released their "Checklist for Change" campaign. This is exciting, because it features 10 major issues that every Democratic woman in the Senate has signed on to fight for. Among those on the checklist: achieve equal pay for equal work, make health care affordable, and protect our environment. You can see the rest of the checklist here.

Let's hope we can put a check next to one or two of those tasks in our lifetimes.

What next?

Oh yeah, it's thrilling. They lifted Hillary Clinton's entire presidential campaign and claimed it as their own. Go Ladies!

I don't see what's so terrible about it. If Hillary can't carry it out, I'm glad someone can. Also, don't forget the fact that Hillary is one of them - she's a part of the Senate as well. These issues are ones that nearly every Democratic female politician would fight for... they're not just specific to Hillary. She shouldn't have to be the only one who strives for equal pay or stronger environmental policies, she should have her fellow Democrats backing her up. And I'm glad that she does.

Shame some people (first post) think that Hillary owns all women's issues.
